Solo Exhibition opening in Toronto on November 16th 2012

If you are in the Toronto area, please join us and see what noodling we have been up to the last several months as we present a body of work devoted to animals that may not be long with us!  We will be presenting, drawings, paintings, resin sculptures, and ceramic pieces. Well over 30 new works on display. This has been an exciting process for us to try all kinds of new mediums and devote the entire body of work to some of the strange and wonderful creatures that inhabit our planet.

The show will be at Narwhal Gallery at the Junction in Toronto.

Opening Reception:
Friday, Nov 16th

Until December 16, 2012

We will be there - and so should you!!!

Spirit Animal Collective

24 x 36” unframed, 30 x 42” framed
Graphite on paper. 2009

The largest drawing kozy has done in the "Unknown Portraits" style to date. Little did we know that cameras, at least in early incarnations before the invention of modern film, did in fact capture a piece of one's soulwith each picture. Here is a class photo where all the students spirit animals have emerged to pose with their "bodies".

The artwork will appear in our upcoming exhibition at Magic Pony's Narwhal Art Projects in Toronto opening tomorrow, October 1st, 2009.

Even viewing LARGE doesn't really do it justice...
