"Celestial Bodies" limited edition print NOW AVAILABLE

We just completed a new pinrt edition called "Celestial Bodies"

Limited edition of 100 signed and numbered giclee prints on Somerset watercolor paper 36 x 24 inches.

Kozy really wanted to do a piece about one of the strangest and most magical creatures in the sea - the nawhal. This real life unicorn of the sea lives in Arctic waters that are currently going through rapid and drastic changes due to the global climate change. Like many animals who make their homes living amongst the polar sea ice, you have to wonder what will happen to them as the environment they evolved to live in rapidly shrinks as the ice caps melt.

"A Happy Day On A Dying Sea"

Gouache on paper
50 in x 44 in (128 cm x 112 cm)

Painting we created for our exhibition "Breaking Circles, Broken Light" at Narwhal Gallery in Toronto. Sea otters!!!! How could anyone not love them?! We certainly do. So we created this painting celebrating the warm fuzzy feeling we get from sea otters, but also with a little reminder that they are almost gone from this world and clinging on to the last vestiges of their habitat that humans have not yet destroyed. :) Lovely and a little sad, but mostly lovely!!

A Poster of this painting is available now in OUR WEB SHOP!

The Amorous Nudibranchs Paint the Town Red

(and Orange and Yellow and Green and Blue and Violet)...

pencil and digital

It is, we think, our interpretation of a most basic of platitudes: "Love can change the world!" Although in this case, it is the new found love is between two giant land-locked magical sea slugs, out on their first date in the streets of Soho. Everywhere they go the world becomes more vibrant, more alive. Some people notice the change, and some do not, but we are all in some way affected.
